Web Design By Barter

I am in the process of designing a web site for a woman. She owns a campground with cabins in a very beautiful, very remote area of BC. I put together a site for her in exchange for essentially unlimited access to her facility throughout the summer. It feels very odd for me to be having one of the best summers of my life after recent events. I have been able to travel extensively. I have met some of the most interesting people I've known in a very long time. Sometimes not good interesting but interesting nonetheless. Was able to surf several times and am doing so again in a few weeks. Surfing rivals skiing for enjoyment factor. And I have just earned my first official revenue from 4 Keys Media Inc. after what seemed like a comedy of errors in my first real attempt at being in business in any way. A client wrote me a cheque. I forgot to put my name on the first batch of business cards I printed up. After about eight people in a row pointed this out to me I have started telling people it's a team effort so 'we' don't specify on the cards who you should call. I had 500 of the damned things printed. Have to go back to the place and get them done again. The design on the cards needs work anyway.
