Bum

I am trying very hard to be a ski bum. The obligations to my employer and trying to get my little media startup going make that extremely difficult lately. The other morning I was at the very peak of Blackcomb Mountain. There wasn't anyone else up there. The silence of that moment was astounding. When the wind is still you literally can't hear a sound. Today I enjoyed powder just below my knees at the very top level of the mountain. I still run out thighs after a few hours of skiing that stuff. I now have new Volkl skis that are specifically designed for the type of skiing I like to do. It's a beautiful thing.
